Kovalam
Kovalam is a popular beach resort in the southern state of Kerala, India. It is located on the Arabian Sea and is known for its pristine beaches, scenic beauty and relaxed atmosphere.
The main attraction of Kovalam is its three crescent-shaped beaches: Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach (also known as Eve’s Beach) and Samudra Beach. Lighthouse Beach, named after the famous Vizhinjam lighthouse on a rocky outcrop, is the most popular of the three beaches. Visitors can relax on the sandy beaches, swim in the clear blue waters, and engage in water sports such as swimming, surfing, and parasailing.
Hawa Beach, adjacent to Lighthouse Beach, is known for its unique rock formations and is a popular spot for sunbathing and leisurely strolls. Samudra Beach, a little further away, offers a quieter and more secluded atmosphere, making it ideal for those seeking solitude and privacy.
In addition to its beautiful beaches, Kovalam is known for Ayurvedic treatments and wellness centers. The city has a number of Ayurvedic spas and resorts that offer rejuvenating therapies, massages, and yoga sessions, providing visitors with a holistic and relaxing experience.
Kovalam also has a vibrant nightlife with numerous beach shacks, restaurants and cafes offering a wide variety of dishes, including fresh seafood.
Sightseeing
We think of the mountainous region of HIMACHAL PRADESH, of RAJASTHAN with its long MOGHUL history, we think of the cities along the GANG with their ceremonies and also GOA, which have so much more to offer than just the numerous beaches. KERALA, TAMIL NADU and many more are waiting to be discovered by you.
